Monday 21st October:

We are doing Mondays journal on Tuesday morning. It was a hectic day and I was on the road at 5am but the day went brilliant workwise. We got up to frost and it prevented us from hunting or galloping. We are continuing on hedge cutting and I think it will never be finished but we are getting there. We did a massive swap around with pups, saplings and schooling dogs. It would have been my late mothers birthday if she had been here and she would of been 92 where the last four years have gone since she passed away I don’t know. It was also a great friend of mine 80th birthday davey pringle from stakeford and another friend from monasterevin 25th birthday rob Patterson. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD TWO RUNNERS AT NOTTINGHAM CONEY KUCCINI AND HAGGSWOOD RIVER.

Tuesday 22nd October:

Another frosty morning and a busy day. We are taking swift effort to get a testical removed from the groin to dennis brearys, we are worming pups and doing there nails, organising getting hounds that are sold to the uk to there new owners and continuing on the never ending job of hedge cutting. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT SHEFFIELD CONEY CULICAN.

Wednesday 23rd October:

Another cool and dry morning so we will continue on with the hedge cutting, we will prepare hounds for schooling, we have hounds that are sold going to the uk to there new owners with ross miles, pat O’Hare and aidan mcallister. A big thanks to everyone who bought a hound. We will get the blast of the swap around done with pups, saplings and hounds that are schooling. We have a little bit of paperwork to do and if we get all this done its another good day work wise.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT HARLOW POINTLESS PRAISE AND AT DONCASTER SWIFT BEVEL.

Thursday 24th October:

A cool dry morning the main jobs of today are schooling at newbridge, hedge cutting and preparing dogs to start schooling. If all goes well I might go for fish late today so its going to be a long day. Annie from cork is finally settling in the house but starts howling at 4;30 am every morning. Thankfully the clocks are going forward at the weekend, I hope nobody tips her off. We have updated the up and coming page for 2019/2020. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FIVE RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT HOVE BRITTANIA WILL, CYNTHIAS GIFT AND SWIFT CASEY. AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT SENSIBLE AND SWIFT REACTION.

Friday 25th October:

A wet start to the morning but it has stopped raining. The main job today is galloping hounds, we have supplies to be collected which will have to be packed away, we have a bit of paperwork to complete and along with the every day jobs of cooking, cleaning, feeding and letting hounds out that are kennelled up. ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE ONE RUNNER TONIGHT AT ROMFORT SWIFT BULLET.

Saturday 26th October:

We never got a chance to do the journal yesterday as it was a hectic day. We had hounds getting checked that are schooling, loads of supplies to collect such as straw, food for pups, veg, bits and pieces from the vets and we had all our waste to take away. It was a very cold day. Newcastle came out of the bottom 3 of the premiership without kicking a ball as Southampton got beaten by Leister 9-0.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE THREE RUNNERS TONIGHT. AT PERRY BARR SWIFT FERDIA AND DRAHBEG DASH. AT MONMORE SWIFT TRILLION.

Sunday 27th October:

Its a very cold morning with heavy frost. We have pups to inject, the gallop and garage to tidy and other than that it will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean feed and let dogs out that are kennelled up. Its a big day for Newcastle United who are playing Wolves.

ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT DRAHBED DASH.
