MONDAY 31ST OF AUGUST
A overcast morning but hopefully the rain will keep off. The main job of today is trailing in Kilkenny, we need food for pups from the supermarket, we also need meat tripe and chicken so all this will have to be collected. We needed trip to the cash and carry but I don’t think this will be done today. Newcastle United had a massive win at the weekend which was great to see.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS TONIGHT AT NOTTINGHAM SWIFT ODRAN AND SWIFT KIPPER.
TUEASDAY 1ST OF SEPTEMBER
A busy day on Tuesday and we didn’t get the journal done on Tuesday until Wednesday afternoon. It was a busy day as we had meat, chicken and tripe to collect, we had a delivery from Time dog food, we were busy with pups and saplings. Newcastle United had a good transfer window and it was a day of heavy rain.
WEDNESDAY 2ND OF SEPTEMBER
A busy morning we had to meet Darragh Ryan with hounds that are sold going to the UK we got all our waste away and we had a loads of bits and pieces to collect everywhere. I’ve also got to meet the vet tonight and at the kennels that was a day for changing the beds.
THURSDAY 3RD OF SRPTEMBER
The first job on Thursday was to collect fish as I had to get back early as there was hounds to deliver to the UK which I had to take myself. At the kennels we got all the hounds checked that are schooling. We used the last of our paper bedding to change the beds that needed changing. We did more worming and hunting with pups.
FRIDAY 4TH OF SEPTEMBER
We had a hound to deliver to Cashel that was sold. We collected supplies from the vets and also got all our waste away and we also did more preparation work with saplings ready for schooling which tool all day.
SATURDAY 5TH OF SEPTEMBER
Thankfully it wasn’t raining as we had a lorry load of paper bedding which all had to be emptied and packed away. We also needed meat. We are doing the paperwork a day early as the vat is to do and we are doing a tidy up around the yard once again and all always there is bits and pieces of supplies we have to collect.
