MONDAY THE 20TH OF JULY
An overcast day and a lot cooler thank goodness which is ideal for the main job of the day trialing in Kilkenny. We have a little bit of work to do on the hedges hopefully we get that done today. We have bits and pieces of supplies to collect as normal on a Monday. We have a delivery coming from red mills and we also have beds to change in kennels.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN IRELAND WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT CLOMMEL SWIFT HAYLEY.
TUESDAY THE 21ST OF JULY
Its still warm but no where near as hot we had two loads of rubbish for the dump where it all comes from I don’t know. We have been to the vets , we have been swapping pups around from the birth areas into concrete yards plus worming them and trimming their nails as well.
WEDNESDAY THE 22ND OF JULY
Another day where it is not to hot thank goodness. We will continue on moving mother and pups trimming their nails and worming them and putting them into rearing paddocks. We need meat so that will have to be collected and all hounds that were sold are now getting delivered in the UK and if the day goes well we will start preparing more hounds for schooling.
THURSDAY THE 23RD OF JULY
Another nice day and hopefully it will not get to hot today. We had a scare this morning with a brood bitch so I was at the vets first thing this morning and thankfully everything is okay with her. I have to buy some sheds for pups today so they will have to be collected. I haven’t have a thing in the house to eat so I have a load of shopping to do. I day tripped England yesterday for paper bedding so that will have to be packed away and all ferries at the moment are packed to the funnels and took an hour in a half to get off Stena line.
FRIDAY THE 24TH OF JULY
Another day where it is not to hot. We are back to the vets to get the tonsils out of swift Edd. We need all our waste away , carpets to make beds for mother and pups. A trip to the cash and carry and we also need food for pups from the supermarket and we also have hounds to swap around.
SATURDAY THE 25TH OF JULY
The coolest day we had in weeks. We even had a drop of rain.. We needed meat, tripe and chicken so it all had to be collected. The never ending job of maintenance work and tidying up continued on today as well. We made all the lists for the coming week. Newcastle United are getting very busy in the transfer window. Its a month from today until the Premier League starts.

SUNDAY 26TH JULY:
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will get caught up with paperwork and tidy the house.
