MONDAY THE 13TH OF JULY
The trials at Kilkenny are canceled today owing to the weather so we are now trialing tomorrow. We need all our waste away, we have supplies to get from the vet and we have started very early as thankfully was a lot cooler first thing so we can get feed up early and we also had to move pups in to the rearing paddocks. We have the paper work to post off and as normal there is bits and pieces of supplies to collect.
TUESDAY THE 14TH OF JULY
The red hot weather continues but we were in Kilkenny early for trials and it was nice and cool. We had visitors collecting a hound that was sold early today. We need food for pups we also need meet so all that will have to be collected. We are having to fed up very early in the day and we bought paddling pools for all the young pups to play in the water and keep cool. We have given the garages a tidy up and the freezer.
WEDNESDAY THE 15TH OF JULY
Another red hot day but the forecast is for it to cool down a little bit I have a fan on swift Vicky in the house half the size of a wind turbine and if I did not have it on her I would have lost her .We are cutting the hedges outside my house next to the road as they were a mess. We have been worming trimming nails on all the young pups as there is nothing we can do with hounds other than give them watered and food plus kept cool.
THURSDAY THE 16TH OF JULY
Thank goodness it is cool in the mornings as it red hot later in the day. The plans for today we need meat , tripe and chicken so that will have to be collected. We have collected Swift Silly from Graham Holland mated to Sword Rex. We need all our waste away , supplies from the vet. We are worming and trimming nails on pups and we are also continuing cutting hedges next to the road as you drive in to the kennels.
FRIDAY THE 17TH OF JULY
The warm weather continues on today but the forecast is to get cooler thank goodness. We need to go to red mills as we have ran out of racer we also need food for pups from the supermarket and we will continue on with worming and trimming nail on pups and saplings and all going well we will continue on doing the hedge cutting.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT ROMFORD SWIFT JASPER AND AT SUNDERLAND SWIFT KYLIE.
SATURDAY THE 18TH OF JULY
Its still warm but the forecast is for it to get cooler. We need meat so that will have to be collected. We will do a bit more hedge cutting and tidying up. We have more pups to worm and inject. We need to go to the vets to get passports for hounds going to the UK. The sales department has been busy so a big thank you to everybody who bought a hound.

AT DUNSTALL PARK FIRST AMBITION AND SWIFT HELENA. AT DONCASTER SWIFT JERICHO , SWIFT QUAID AND SWIFT KRAB. AT HOVE SWIFT JARVIS AND TIFFIELD TARQUIN. AT SHELBOURNE PARK HARLEQUIN GEE UP AND AT STAR PELAW SWIFT YAWN.
SUNDAY 19TH JULY:
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will do a tidy up and get caught up with the paperwork.
