MONDAY THE 6TH OF OCTOBER
Monday was the start of cutting the hedges and the trees around the rearing paddocks and this Monday coming we are starting to redo the fences in the rearing paddocks , I have let the hedges grow to long and there was 20 jumbo , tractor and trailer loads and the worst part about it you can’t get anybody to do anything in Ireland and it cost an arm and a leg lucky i got him to take it all away as there was so much we would of never got it away. They worked late and thankfully its all done now as we do the journal on Wednesday evening.
TUESDAY THE 7TH OF OCTOBER
The hedge cutting continued all day on Tuesday . I had meat to collect and hounds that I sold were delivered in Ireland . We did a swap around with saplings and pups when we got the paddocks finished
WEDNESDAY THE 8TH OF OCTOBER
We started the tidy up job after the hedge cuttings and tree felling around the rearing paddocks got finished yesterday thankfully the weather is dry we needed food for pups the weekly run to dealz for disinfectant.
AS WE GET NEWS OF OUR OPEN RACE RUNNERS WE WILL ADD THEM TO THE JOURNAL.
THURSDAY THE 9TH OF OCTOBER
I was on the road early to collect factory meat from Northern Ireland . We had to be fed up early for the main job of the day trialing and handslipping in Kilkenny and we continued on with a massive tidying up job after our tree work.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT HOVE SWIFT JARVIS. AT NEWCASTLE SWIFT BECAUSE.
FRIDAY THE 10TH OF OCTOBER
The first job on Friday was a trip to the vets to get the bandages off the two hounds for the last time. One had a problem with a tail thats now healed perfect and one had a problem with a leg which has healed perfectly. We needed food for pups. We have started tidying up the rearing paddocks and the gallop to get it ready for the new sawdust and the fencing job in the rearing paddock which starts on Monday.

SATURDAY THE 11TH OF OCTOBER
We had meat to collect on Saturday which is getting a little bit more plentiful thanks goodness. At the kennels we are removing the hedge cutting and tree cuttings from the gallop and doing the repair job on the gallop in preparation of the new sawdust coming next week to relay it. We also wormed pups & cut their nails. As normal when we get a bit of time, we moved hounds and pups around from rearing paddocks to kennels.

TONIGHT WE HAVE EIGHT RUNNERS AT CENTRAL PARK CHADDY BOY , SWIFT DELTA AND SWIFT MEGAN. AT SHELBOURNE PARK PHOENIX MEMPHIS AND AT YARMOUTH ALWAYS WRIGHTY. AT DONCASTER BLUEY BOY AND SWIFT JEROMO.
SUNDAY THE 12TH OF OCTOBER
It will be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. We will also get caught up with paperwork.
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK AND IRELAND WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT SHELBOURNE PARK PHOENIX MEMPHIS WON THE KIRBY GROUP FINAL IN 28.20 TONIGHT WE HAVE TWO RUNNERS AT STAR PELAW UNANIMOUS KAI AND BURROWS TRIGGER.
