MONDAY 27TH OF OCTOBER
We are doing Mondays journal on Tuesday afternoon. It was a bank holiday Monday in southern Ireland. We worked away great, even though it was a wet day, we did a bit of a tidy up, we done some leader training with pups and the day went well
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER YESTERDAY AT OXFORD SWIFT MAGNSION.
TUESDAY THE 28TH OF OCTOBER
It’s been a day for ordering supplies. I had to collect food for pups and I also was at floods in Newbridge collecting shavings. We got the 202 van serviced, loaded the 191 van with pallets ready to go to the recycling center on Wednesday morning. Richard Cuddy brought a brood bitch back which has been mated, as he’s short of kennels and we are going to do a bit more of a tidy up.

WEDNESDAY THE 29TH OF OCTOBER
Not a bad morning and hopefully it will stay dry . A busy day and my right hand pagie is back off his holidays. We are going to change all the beds in all the kennels . We have three loads of rubbish to go to the dump. We need tires on the 202 van w are also going to wash the vans , give my house a tidy , there will be bits and pieces to collect as normal . We have hounds that are sold going to the UK and Ireland as normal Darren Ryan is collecting the UK hound from the yard which is a massive help and Newcastle united have a big game against Tottenham hotspur in the League cup.
THURSDAY THE 30TH OF OCTOBER
A wet morning and a busy day . I went for meat late yesterday so we are emptying the van this morning . We had a delivery of dog food so it had to be packed away . We have a brood to collect from Cuddys stud we also have to be feed up early as the main job of the day is trialing in Kilkenny there is 20 hounds to go for their first handslip .
FRIDAY THE 31ST OF OCTOBER
Were doing Fridays journal on Saturday afternoon. The first job on Friday was to collect meat. We had a brood to collect from Cuddys stud. We needed food for pups. The wind and rain was as bad as its ever been.

SATURDAY THE 1ST OF NOVEMBER
The first job of the day was to collect meat. We added our September 2024 saplings to the dogs for sale page. We have also added the photographs of our August 2024 saplings to greyhound data. Were repairing a drain outside. The job’s going well. I had a disaster while I was driving back with the meat as I hit a pothole and broke a leaf spring. I had to rush to Dublin to get parts. Thankfully I have a friend fixing it this afternoon.

SUNDAY THE 2ND OF NOVEMBER
Its going to be a typical Sunday where we cook, clean, feed and let hounds out of kennels. Other than that we will get caught up with paperwork. On a very sad note I think Swift Vicki who lives in the house with me is coming to the end of her life as she has now got one or two health problems. She has had a great life. She breed group one winners and daughters of hers have produced group one winners.
