MONDAY THE 5TH OF JANUARY
A very cold start to the day. At 6am when we start it was minus 5 degrees so all we can do with weather like this is let dogs in and out , keep good beds under them and plenty of good food , were having to carry water from my house and kennels to the rearing paddocks as the water buckets were frozen. I have been to the vets. I was at red mills early today as we ran out of bag dog food and i have spend the whole morning ordering supplies. Newcastle united had a massive win and played well against Crystal palace.
ON THE OPEN RACES SCENE IN THE UK WE HAD ONE WINNER LAST NIGHT AT TOWCESTER ALWAYS WRIGHTY.
TUESDAY THE 6TH OF JANUARY
A cold day and a dry day, we got up to frost again when we started at 6am. I went for meat first thing and i have now got to go to the landfill. We got our first delivery of bagged dog food from time dog food so that had to be packed away. We had a problem with water due to the frost like we have had all week and it has had to be carried from my house and the kitchen in the kennels to the raring paddocks and the garden paddocks, and up to the brood bitches next to the gallop up top. We have got vans to empty and load this afternoon and we will also do a bit of a tidy up as the frost has gone.
WEDNESDAY THE 7TH OF JANUARY
AS WE GET THE OPEN RACE RUNNERS I WILL ADD THEM TO THE WEEKLY JOURNAL.
No frost today thank goodness but the gallop and the rearing paddocks are still rock hard. We got the vans washed. I went to collect posts to finish the rearing paddocks off as there is probably a weeks work left and if we get a break in the weather we will get the fronts of the six rearing paddocks left to do finished . I chased paperwork up. Changed the beds in kennels and we gave the yards a proper clean as we couldn’t put water on them because of the frost. A massive game tonight for Newcastle united.
THURSDAY THE 8TH OF JANUARY

FRIDAY THE 9TH OF JANUARY
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE SIX RUNNERS AT ROMFORD SWIFT KRAB , SWIFT ZAYLEE , SWIFT DEPOT , WRIGHTY AND TIFFIELD TARQUIN. AT SUNDERLAND UNANIMOUS LEON.
SATURDAY THE 10TH OF JANUARY
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK AND IRLAND WE HAVE SIX RUNNERS AT CENTRAL PARK SWIFT DALLAS , EARLS JAGUAR , SWIFT JARVIS , MARTINDALE LAD AND HOLLYBANKS. AT SHELBOURNE PARK HAWKFIELD GARRY.
SUNDAY THE 11TH OF JANUARY
ON THE OPEN RACE SCENE IN THE UK WE HAVE FOUR RUNNERS AT SHEFFIELD SWIFT HOSTILE. AT TOWCESTER ALWAYS WRIGHTY , MR JAMES AND CHARLIE LOVES ME.
