Week starting on 18-Jul-2010

Knocklong trials from Tuesday and Wednesday now updated.
This has been the busiest week in a long time here at Lughill. The paperwork for the VAT is getting done, the boys are swapping dogs and pups around which are all doing fantastic, Murray Tree Services are finishing the last of the hedges off as we just havnt got time to do them ourselves, Im going to the North when we finish this to seek two ton of fish, all the work on the vans is just about completed and should be finished tonight Thursday 22nd and I must say their running like brand new. We will be schooling at Knocklong Wednesday and Thursday of next week as the computer doctor who does my website, who now helps me with the schooling aswell is going to Killarney for a few days break. Hope he has a good time (wine, women and song) and hope he dosnt ruin anybody elses holiday (only joking). Ill be taking two to Newbridge myself, Swift Kylebeg and Swift Smith on Tuesday and there will be no more updates on the website untill Wednesday 28th.
We went to Knocklong yesterday Tuesday 20th with some very exciting trials which will be updated along with Wednesdays trial Thursday morning on the For Sale page.
The weather is glorious this morning Tuesday 20th July and we are definately going to Knocklong. Updates tomorrow morning or Thursday morning as we have to go back to Knocklong.
We didnt get schooling at the weekend as we have had a fate of mechanical problems with the vans. The big van had the pipe from the intercooler to the turbo which has just arrived now as we do the website and oue engineers are fitting it. The starter motor and the wheel baring in the middle van had to be changed. The small van: I went to have a look at the horse fair and got it stuck in the field. A travelling gentleman offered to pull me out for 50 euro but fastened his chains to my front shock absorbers and bent them both. Hopefully this is the only damage done.
Last week was a busy week but everything went perfect. This week we will finish the hedges, school at Knocklong Tuesday and Wednesday. All the new born pups are doing fabelous and it was nice to see Blonde Blitz break the 943m track record at Sittingbourne. Back to the horse fair, which was on Saturday, Fellow greyhound breeders Casey brothers, who have cut their greyhound breeding back dramatically and now breed ducks, hens and other types of foul and also grow vegetables. I was amazed top see they had a que for the veg. They were almost fighting to buy the foul, a baby peacock which are 200 euro each and a young duck which were 20 euro each.
