We got up again on Monday to frost so we continued on worming, cutting nails, checking for paracites and changing beds. We have another bitch due whos now gone over the top by a day. Pups in the danger stage are magnificant. Trials at Newbridge were off on Tuesday. Today, Wednesday 3rd March we schooled at Knocklong and Tony Murphy ICC Stuart earmarked pups and marked up saplings. Dogs left for England. The weather is very good today and trials at Knocklong went fantastic. Thanks to Paddy Murphy for hiring us 6 schooling queens today they were worth every penny. So Im debating as I finish the website if to have a pint with Brian Murray as after a whirlwind of a romance he is now getting engaged to big Mary. Hes the happiest looking man in Ireland as he was worming my trotting horse. Thanks Brian. The weather has improved dramatically and it now feels like Spring for the first time. By Monday night we'll have done every dog on the premasis from 3 weeks to retired, wormed, nails done and sprayed to keep paracites off and all beds changed everywhere. Last night Swift Dana had 6 pups to Hondo Black all dogs so of the last 27 dogs born here 26 were dogs. |
